I’m a PhD student at the Australian National University working under the guidance of Prof. Steve Blackburn and Sara Hamouda. My PhD is on understanding and improving the efficiency of memory management on mobile devices such as phones. We specifically focus on the Android operating system since it is both open source and also supports a wide range of hardware. I’m also a member of the MMTk research group, working on the next generation of the memory management toolkit.

My interests extend from programming language design and implementation to performance evaluation and low-level hardware implementation.
